Hammontonians are preparing for cooler weather and fall activities by shopping at local retail stores .
When people step inside The Golden Feather , the first thing they will notice is the smell of breakfast foods .
“ Right now Country Morning is burning . It smells like coffee , pancakes , waffles and French toast . It smells good ,” Gina Randazzo said .
Randazzo has worked for The Golden Feather for 10 years , she said .
Randazzo and Lori Bertino , ( one of the owners ), listed some fall activities people are preparing outfits for such as watching football games , apple picking , pumpkin picking , visiting local wineries

and walking through the corn maze at the Red Barn Café on Route 206 .
To prepare for the fall , look out for the new Vintage Havana fall line , which includes plaid shackets , as well as the new Myra bags .
“ The Myra bags are new . We
just got all the western-looking ones ,” Randazzo said .

Ana Yanoschak , the owner of Perhaps , said “ fall is always exciting to shop for .”
“ It ’ s one of my favorite seasons . What ’ s really big this year is satins are huge . You see them everywhere . Blouses mainly . And we ’ re seeing a lot of different textured material in one sweater , so that ’ s really big right now , too . Different textures like corduroy , plaid all in the same type of jacket ,” Yanoschak said .
Corduroy was a must-have last year and continues to be a staple piece in 2022 .
“ The corduroy was real big last year . It ’ s still big . It ’ s a staple piece , so we did bring that back in a variety of colors . Right now we have black in store , but we ’ re going to be getting all the fall colors in shortly ,” Yanoschak said .
Bodysuits are also popular and can be found at Perhaps .
“ Everybody for the most part is back to work , so the last two years we were in full loungewear so it was comfortable but cute . This year you ’ re starting to see a lot more fitted items . Bodysuits are huge ,” Yanoschak said .
