Board Member of the Month – Michael Eno
Greetings fellow ASCE-NH members and hope everyone is having a great day ! My name is Michael Eno and I was recently sworn in to the ASCE-NH Board of Directors as the Junior New England Delegate – pleasure to formally introduce myself . I currently live in Enfield , NH with my girlfriend , Brittany , and our two wonderful cats , Timon and Pumba .
I grew up on the Massachusetts border in Plaistow , New Hampshire and attended Timberlane Regional High School where I initially discovered my interests within architecture and engineering . Following high school , I proceeded to attend the University of New Hampshire and obtained my Bachelor ’ s degree in Civil Engineering ( with a concentration in Environmental Engineering ) in 2015 .
In the weeks leading up to me graduating UNH , I stumbled upon a job posting in Kingsbury Hall for an engineering position at Geokon – a geotechnical and structural instrumentation manufacturer located in Lebanon , NH – to which I promptly applied for and so began my career within the I & M field . I transitioned from Geokon after three years and moved down to Boston where I managed several smallscale construction projects in South Boston , Roxbury , and Dorchester . After one year down in Boston , I realized that my true passion was within I & M and so I returned to Geokon for another three years before moving on to my current position at Senceive as a Business Development Manager . Senceive is a remote condition monitoring firm that specializes in the manufacture of wireless instrumentation , sensor integration , and providing data acquisition systems that enable clients to view the data / alerts from their projects without leaving their home or office .
Outside of work , I enjoy anything involving animals , hiking , camping , kayaking , traveling , golfing , snowboarding , seeing live music , and spending quality time with friends and family . I am excited to serve all of you while on the Board of Directors and look forward to what ’ s to come !
