Providence Walk to End Alzheimer’s
OCT. 4: This year, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s
is on your street and in your community.
Even though it won’t be a large in-person
event, you can still gather in small teams of
friends and family and check out the event’s
online experience. Plus, livestream the
opening ceremony and download the Walk
to End Alzheimer’s app, which tracks your
steps. You’ll even hear messages of support
along your walk through the app. Register

farmers market. They’re hosting a collection

Vineyard Voyage
OCT. 8: Hop aboard the Providence Riverboat
Company for an open-air cruise
throughout the Providence waterways.
The boat tour will be paired with a sampling
of crisp wines and prosecco from
Rhode Island-based Gooseneck Vineyards.
There will be four featured wines
with light food pairings and, throughout
the cruise, the captain will highlight nautical
and historical points of interest. You
must be twenty-one and older to take this
tour. Space is limited and reservations are
required. All passengers are required to
wear a facial covering while onboard. 5

OCT. 15: On the third Thursday of every
month, from March through November,
the Capital City’s creative art spots open
their doors for a visual arts tour. Normally,
you can take the free art trolley or choose
