OCT. 1: Shop local in Barrington, Bristol
and Warren. This informal walkabout-style
event is open to all and allows individuals
to get out and explore the community. The
affair occurs the first Thursday of every
month and is a great way to bring foot
traffic into local businesses. Some participating
shops and restaurants include the
Book Nerd, Made in Warren, Thames
Waterside, the Wave and Rhody Roots.

Harvest Moon Paddle
OCT. 1: There is something wistful about
the harvest moon, and there are few better
places to see it than from the water.
Paddle from the Ocean House dock to
greet the reflections of the moon from a
remote stretch of beach, enjoy a glass of
sparkling wine and paddle home across
placid waters under the moon’s silvery
