Breakout Space
Navarra Hall has been modernized to include ADA-accessible classrooms , collaborative workspaces , a TV production studio , upgraded technology , and critical infrastructure improvements . The Shiley Center has been transformed with state-ofthe-art engineering and science labs that are also ADA accessible and prepared to educate students in high-caliber STEM courses .
The social-emotional wellness of students was at the forefront of decision making in creating various breakout spaces and learning nooks , throughout both buildings , as
Science Lab with Fume Hood well as the integration of biophilic nature walls indoors , increased natural light throughout , and increased collaborative think spaces with floor to ceiling whiteboards . These spaces allow students to collaborate both academically and socially .
In looking at the needs of these renovations , OLP kept five broad areas at top of mind : preserving the Sisters of St . Joseph faith and history ; academic improvements ; social-emotional wellbeing ; environmentalism ; and accessibility , safety , and security .
Now more than ever , the world needs OLP women to lead in technology , business , government , church , communities , families , and society at large . OLP provides girls with boundless opportunities to ensure that she is ready for any path that lies ahead .
