or many years , Promises2Kids has been fortunate to have Southwest Airlines as a critical partner in supporting foster youth . They have provided scholarships , travel for over 100 youth for college tours , sponsored our Dream On concert gala and they have been Promises2Kids ’ Official Airline since 2014 . Southwest Airlines has even provided tickets for foster youth to return home from college for the holidays .
At the heart of all this , has been Lidia S . Martinez . Lidia has always been a champion for foster youth and a longtime supporter of Promises2Kids , never hesitating to step up during times of need . She has not only shown a sincere interest in the futures of foster youth here in San Diego County , but for all those who are underserved . She has had a tremendous impact on the San Diego community and has exemplified unmatchable across countless non-profits and our region .
