New Delhi-based designer Sahib Bhatia
showcased the ‘Rule Breaker’ collection at
the latest edit of Lakmé Fashion Week. The
collection, inspired by varying forms of indigenous
Australian art, brought to the fore different kinds
of fabric-texturing techniques such as pleating,
tucks, and embroideries. These techniques are
particularly juxtaposed well against oversized
garments. As he revealed in an interview with
Outlook India, oversized garments and wrap-
around single-breasted jackets, among others,
are in trend now. Many other brands, too, have
