CMAI IVY LEAGUE
Fuelling the Creative Quotient
The 23rd Meeting of CMAI’s IVY League was centred on instilling creative thinking in
businesses, in order to help them bloom without bars. Anurima Das takes notes.
For years now, The Clothing Manufacturers
Association of India (CMAI) has been
spearheading India’s Domestic Apparel Industry.
Bringing about worthwhile changes at every step,
the Association has been envisioning problems
and pain points for the Industry well in advance,
whilst striving to offer sustainable solutions to
them. It has undertaken initiatives and conducted
talks and workshops to address every issue that
is pertinent to the Industry as a whole, in turn,
educating and enriching its many stakeholders.
One of the most esteemed Committees of
CMAI that deals with the crème de la crème
of the industry is the IVY League. This Sub-
Committee consists of top-rung business
professionals who meet regularly to discuss
issues and roadblocks to their path of growth.
The Association particularly organises these
events to address key points and developments
in Apparel Business, and pore over strategies
and even thoughts that may help businesses to
flourish, come what may.
One such event in the IVY League repertoire
is the most recently held half-day workshop
on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at Blue Sea
Banquets, Worli.
