World Record Attempt
World Record Attempt
➲ This was vehicle no. 284 in the convoy, and the vehicle
that broke the African (and world?) record. 50 Land Cruisers
followed this car, to bring the total to 334

➲ The oldest Land Cruiser in the country is a 1959 FJ25, and this
vehicle led the convoy. Not surprisingly, this vehicle is owned by
Cliff Weichelt, managing director of N1 4X4. An interesting thing
about this vehicle is that it is powered by a Chevrolet straight
six 3, 9 litre motor, which is the original engine for this vehicle

presents the two African Record certificates to Cliff and Tina Weichelt
