• Oct 14 : See cutting edge food products face off in the 9th annual Great Manitoba Food Fight . The event , hosted by Manitoba Agriculture , Food , and Rural Development in partnership with the Manitoba Food Processor ' s Association and De Luca ' s , offers a chance for local entrepreneurs to present creative new edibles , like last year ' s winner , Jamore ! Real Fruit Spread ( pictured ). Judges will award the top three contenders with prize packages to help get their products off the ground .
