• Oct 2: Annual event Gold Medal Plates pairs Winnipeg’ s top chefs with Canadian Olympic and Paralympic athletes in a competition to crown a gold, silver, and bronze medal team. See chefs such as Michael Dacquisto from Food Evolution, Tim Palmer from the Velvet Glove, Eric Lee from Pizzeria Gusto and more take part in the culinary battle and sample their competing dishes, paired with a Canadian wine, beer, or spirit of their choice.
