FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY I heard Money for the first time when he was featured on Tay Eaz's single “Big In Da Hood.” Since then I’ve taken an interest to him, so of course I was glad to get a more in-depth listen. From the very start of the mixtape its evident that Money sings from his heart literally. “Together -1,” is proof from the depths of his soul that he pours his heart into the cup he has lyrically turned your ears into. Speaking of the chills in his body when he is told I Love You by the woman he is so passionately singing about, mid song beyonce's 1+1 comes in reiterating the love he has for this woman and Money goes on to say he needs her as bad as the shoes on his feet. There's only one way out/ So I gotta take the other way/ Walking aint my style / Im steady moving like the subway; the chorus from the single “Living Is So So” a punchline, metaphor filled classic. Money and Vdot sealed that track and I stamp it so make sure you check out the video. “Alone” solidifies the title for the mixtape as Money shares his experiences and feelings of being betrayed and cheated on. In more ways than one, you hear Money explain crazy psychotic love. “So Far Gone,” my favorite of all sixteen is a broken-heart ballad where Money sings, As the rain starts to pour/ and the trees start to blow(like your kisses)/, all I really wanna do is spend another night with you/ and all I really wanna do is make everything right with you/ Now Im Sooooo Faaaarrr Goooonnneee. He reminisces of giving a woman everything but a wedding ring and her still blowing him away. The one thing I noticed was the seemingly inspired Drake/J.Cole flow on tracks such as “Babe Ruth,” “Alone” and “5 o'clock in the morning remix.”

Further into the mixtape songs like “Reece Cup” and “Niagara Sex” brings you into the more sexual side of Money. Vellacio, described as clear face proactive school, slow grinding, legs shaking and louds screams make up what Money has called Sextacy. Here is a few bars from “Niagra Sex,” Goddamn im in my zone/ like atl hoods/ my nose stuffy mama/ hope that thing smell good/its getting hot in here /at least as hell should/ my hands between ur legs/ that kitten swell good /got ur head spinning no exorciiiiiiiiiist, dont file out receptioniiiiiiiist, her girls looking she next to geeeett/ and she too small but my nuts will fiiiiiiit /she hop up on dis pogo stiiiiiiick/ and ride me on dat polo shiiiiiiiit/ hit it from the back she run son jo jo shiiiiiiit/ Im fast forward i aint loving tryna slow mo shiiiiit. Track by track Money paints a vivid picture of the ups and downs of love. Love for music, sex, money and life in general. Money reveals, men have feelings too, and its nothing wrong with loving a woman not that we didn’t already know that, it’s just that his pictures are painted with such clarity through song. With features from Damond Blue, VDot, and Overdose and production from Mitchy Love, Cutty Rock, Ghost and Demons in Ralph Crazy Psychotic Love is smooth sailing as your minds drifts on a musical journey to the past and maybe even the present and future of your own hearts hurts and heals.
