DEAR OAKLAND COUNTY VOTERS,
Welcome to the Oakland County Republican Party (OCRP) Voter’s Guide. The Voter’s Guide is
a new program for OCRP to enable the voters to learn more about the candidates representing
them. The November 8th election is a critical election for our country and our county. Your
participation in the election process helps us set our country and county in the right direction.
Oakland County is a great place to live and work, with many great schools, beautiful parks,
wonderful shopping, affordable housing and expanding job market. We have seen how
conservative leadership with L. Brooks Patterson as County Executive has made Oakland
County one of the best run counties in the country. With the Republican majority on the County
Commission, Brooks and Sheriff Mike Bouchard Oakland County make a great team.
This year you can expand that team to include Mike Goetz for Prosecutor, John McCulloch for
Treasurer, Bill Bullard for Clerk/Register of Deeds and Robert Buxbaum for Water Resources
Commissioner and ensure we continue conservative leadership and a positive future for Oakland
County.
As you consider who to vote for, remember to vote Republican for all offices. Federal, state
and county positions impact your quality of life in many ways. Please choose the proven
conservatives to lead us into a better future and making our country great again!
