Parking
The area around Holmenkollen
is well planned for big events. It
may be a little hard to access
by car but the metro works
fine.
Marked Path
In total, really Good. Many
people had trouble finding the
right way in one point where
the 3K sign was. Besides that,
really good.
Course
If you like running in hills this
was for you. I can’t remember
any flat area in the whole
course, but fantastic chance to
run a OCR in this environment.
There was also a rope swing in
to a Cristal clear lake, harder
than you can imagine. The
most visual and spectacular
obstacle was of course the last
one!

THE HILL! I WANTED TO
QUIT! Yes! When the quiting
passed my mind, I hear the
speaker say:

-“This last obstacle has no
penalty, either you do it or you
don’t! ”

Great obstacles framed in a
great way for both competitors
and spectators. Great mix of
hard, soft and terrain paths. c
So I did, but really it was a
wall.. dressed with net so you
have some grip, and there was
also protection to catch you, if
you would fall.. The last meters
uphill in to the finish line took
forever. There was more than
one guy who threw up after
the finish line.
Obstacles

The reason why not 5 is that
especially two of the obstacles.
The trapets and the
monkeybar XXL. Just one of
the trapets was working
properly.

The monkeybar XXL was in
deed a challenge but,
unfortunately the was a queue,
one of the broke down and the
penalty box was pretty
unclear. There was a obstacle
called Dragonback built out of
5miniramps. Really fun an
challenging. The fastest way
was to jump from on top to the
next instead of climbing down
and up.

There where two, one after
approximately 3 K. and again
at 7K.
Finish Line
Fantastic to finish the race on
top of the Holmenkollen ski
jumping hill.
Spectator Friendly
There could be a lot more, but
the course was pretty good for
spectator to cover many of the
obstacles.
