1. Diminish as much disposable plastics from your routine as possible, so when you go to the grocery store BRING YOUR OWN BAG. Using reusable items is very sufficient in the overall diminishing process of waste.

2. Try to use as little of plastic as possible, and when you have to use plastic, recycle it once you've already reused it, basically the three step process of; reduce, reuse, recycle. Every little bit that you prevent is a step closer to diminishing waste from entering our oceans.

3. Take responsibility for your actions, observe how much you contribute to waste, and figure out how you can reduce the amount of waste you use from your footprint, attend an ocean cleanup day like the international coastal cleanup day.
