Carbon Storehouse

There are two systems in which carbon is stored into our oceans. From Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and through oceanic conveyer belts. Each process contributes to the 22 million ton carbon input per day. The daily Co2 entering the ocean has had an effect on our planet, and has increasingly gotten worse. The more absorbtion of carbon dioxide into the ocean, will soon lessen the storage capacity. If we can not decrease the amount of fossil fuels being burned, the excess carbon dioxide that does not get absorbed from the ocean will hold itself in our atmosphere casuing damage to humans in more drastic matters.("Ocean Acidification -- Pristine Seas -- National Geographic."
