TRUSTS TO PROVIDE FLU JAB
NHS England’s medical directors have urged all NHS
trusts to provide winter flu jabs for their healthcare
staff. It is also being offered for free to social care and
hospice staff in contact with patients. There is more

UK’s first occupational therapy
integrated masters launches in Aberdeen
Robert Gordon University is launching the UK’s first integrated
masters degree in occupational therapy.
The four-year, RCOT-accredited course will see students gain
a Masters in Occupational Therapy (MOccTh), which will help to
arm graduates with high-level skills to enter the workforce and
abilities to apply research and leadership skills from the start of
their careers.
Judith Bisset, the course leader, said: ‘This degree will
lead to the development of engaged and confident entry-level
practitioners – equipped with a strong professional identity and
master’s level skills, experience and research knowledge – ready
to enhance the profile and credibility of the profession both
nationally and globally.’
