BBTA’s therapy assistants’ course

able to: demonstrate a knowledge of key movement control
components; have gained an understanding of how movement
control improves function and independence; and explored and
practised intervention skills. Module one: The 24 hour approach to

Assessment of Motor and Process Skills course
(AMPS)
AMPS is an innovative observational assessment that is used to
measure the quality of a person’s activities of daily living (ADL). This
is assessed by rating the effort, efficiency, safety and independence
of 16 ADL motor and 20 ADL process skill items, within the
context of performing chosen, familiar, and life-relevant ADL tasks.

for functional neurological disorder
