CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE ROYAL COLLEGE OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS AWARDS 2021 Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) members are invited to nominate their colleagues for a Fellowship or a Merit Award in recognition of their special contribution to the profession. FELLOWSHIP AWARDS 2021 The award of Fellowship is the highest honour RCOT can bestow on its members in recognition of exceptional service and outstanding contribution to the profession. There are three categories of awards: 1. Fellowship, awarded to professional members of RCOT; 2. Fellowship for Associate Members, awarded to Associate Members of RCOT; 3. Honorary Fellowship, awarded to those who are not occupational therapists. MERIT AWARDS 2021 The Merit Awards were introduced in 2008 by Council in recognition of significant achievement by a member at any stage in their career. They are open to all members of RCOT (excluding students and apprentices). The Merit award recognises an individual’s contribution to the occupational therapy profession which may be locally, regionally, in a specialist field of practice or a diverse area of practice. Those nominated will have been recognised by their peers in the occupational therapy community for excellence in their sphere of work and their special contribution to the occupational therapy profession. Deadline for return of completed forms is Friday 2 October 2020. Nomination forms and full guidance notes are available on the RCOT website rcot.co.uk/fellowship-merit or by email from Dominique Le Marchand, Senior Administrative Officer, at the Royal College of Occupational Therapists: Tel: 020 3141 4617 or [email protected]. We will acknowledge receipt of your nomination. We regret that we cannot enter into correspondence on the merits of a particular nomination. N206
