Publications Group as
a social care member
The RCOT Publications Group (RPG) provides a quality assurance
role in reviewing proposals and drafts of resources produced by
the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, its branches and
in collaboration with other organisations. Members bring RPG
their expertise and specialism to the review of documents for
publication. The RPG meets twice a year with some work between
meetings reviewing documents as required.
RPG has an opportunity available for a member working
in social care.
Joining RPG offers an excellent learning opportunity for members
to support professional development and links to the RCOT
Career Development Framework (RCOT 2017). Membership also
contributes towards the Health and Care Professions Council’s
requirements for CPD as it is a professional activity supporting the
professional body.
We’re looking for applicants who fit the following criteria:
• Member of RCOT;
• Work in a social care setting;
• Have experience of developing professional documentation
and evidence-based practice;
• Work in a role equivalent to Band 7 minimum.
The term of office is for three years and will start in
September 2020. The successful applicant will be invited to
observe the next meeting on Monday 28 September 2020.
