8015 was also starving , and he made the decision to hunt any species that looked weaker than him . After crafting a knife using that stonelike material , he set out . In an hour , he found a rabbit-looking creature that had huge eyes and fangs the size of his thumb . 8015 drew out his knife and stabbed it , then carried the unfortunate creature back to his campfire .
After eating , 8015 slept on the cold ground . That night , his choices seemed to haunt him . He dreamed of the same rabbit-like creature holding his knife .
When 8015 woke up , he was determined to make this experience less dangerous . He glanced around his wannabe campsite ; it looked like something was out to get him , judging by the shape his campsite was in . The campfire had seen better days and the ground was covered in large craters that looked like a giant hand had scooped them out .
8015 went to the same place where he had killed the strange rabbit species . Then , he heard a roar that was loud enough to rupture organs . He was about to scream for help , but he realized that , if he screamed , he might lure the creature to him and that would surely be his end .
Choices , 8015 thought , I was always afraid of them , and they are the controller of my life here . 8015 walked back to his campsite and grabbed his knife . He went on to eat more species , but with every kill , he felt like the planet would punish him dearly .
The next day a huge windstorm stirred up in 8015 ’ s area . The wind burned his eyes and harmed his ears . This could be a huge setback for his survival . Luckily , 8015 learned his lesson and started to make a shelter using the rabbit creatures ’ fur . Then he was finally able to have a good night ’ s sleep .
