Their astonished delight in the quality and range of Saint David ’ s boys ’ work is palpable , and it gives way to fascinating and serious discussions of details on a level suited to the work of college students and graduates . While these creations from our boys in Grades Five through Eight hold up impressively to such close analysis , they are also simply beautiful in their expressions of individual boys ’ experiences of the world . Moreover , as our alumni reviewers were particularly gratified to see , they capture essential qualities of the shared Saint David ’ s experience .
The Obelisk team is pleased to celebrate this year ’ s top achievements in literature and art , and we look forward to seeing Saint David ’ s boys ’ continued creating , writing , revising , and polishing as they strive to have their own work appear in future publications . We are so proud of this collection , and we hope you feel the joy in it , too !
