“ Wow !” they exclaimed .
The jungle was beautiful and filled with all sorts of creatures . It had lush , green trees , swamps with vines hanging around them , and a light mist covering the treetops . It wasn ’ t long before Seve and Grayson realized they would need help to get out .
The boys searched for two hours until they came upon a middle-aged man who was dressed in a blue sweatshirt and black pants . His name was Manuel , and he offered to guide them out . However , he warned them that it would be a long , challenging route that would require teamwork . Seve and Grayson reluctantly agreed since this was their only way out . Manuel , Seve , and Grayson set off down a narrow path . “ I don ’ t trust him ,” whispered Grayson . “ He ’ s helping us , so he ’ s okay with me ,” responded Seve . They were walking for hours before it started getting dark . At this point , Manuel noticed Seve and Grayson were getting tired , so he decided to stop for the night .
Manuel asked , “ Seve , Grayson , can you collect some wood for a fire ?” “ Sure ,” they responded . When they got back from collecting wood , they found three tents set up . “ That ’ s weird ,” said Grayson . “ Yeah ,” replied Seve ,” I didn ’ t notice that Manuel had tents with him .” “ That ’ s because he didn ’ t have them !” said Grayson . They moved on from the subject and decided to go inside the tents . Inside were fully prepared warm meals of chicken and rice , with Arnold Palmers to drink ( which was both Seve ’ s and Grayson ’ s favorite drink ). Manuel was nowhere to be found . After dinner , the boys went to sleep .
