hours out there in the blood warm blue water . And as I hold myself under and sift through the sand , I see a small glow , the bleach white of a shell . I frantically splash over to it , but then daintily pick it up , not to break it . I emerge from the water to see the sun setting over the turquoise tropical water . Hands on my hips , I am grinning from ear to ear .
