DAY 11 • Portoferraio, Elba, Italy • Optional Mount Capanne tour Disembark on Elba, a UNESCO-protected island, that was once part of a larger stretch of land that connected Italy to Corsica. We’ ll take a discovery walk of Portoferraio, the island’ s main port. Later, you’ ll have the opportunity to join an optional tour to Mount Capanne. Meals: B, L, D | M / V Artemis or M / V Athena
DAY 12 • Portoferraio, Elba Enjoy a panoramic bus tour of Elba Island, a captivating gem in the Mediterranean. The rest of the afternoon is free as your ship sails for Porto Santo Stefano. Meals: B, L, D | M / V Artemis or M / V Athena
DAY 13 • Giglio Island Catch a brief ferry to Giglio Island, one of the seven islands that make up the Tuscan Archipelago National Park. After a discovery walk, we’ ll depart for the village of Castello, perched on a hill overlooking the archipelago. Meals: B, L, D | M / V Artemis or M / V Athena
DAY 14 • Disembark ship • Sicily-Rome American Cemetery in Nettuno • Rome Disembark our ship and transfer to Rome, making a stop in Nettuno to visit the Sicily- Rome American Cemetery. Meals: B, L | Hotel Delle Nazioni or similar
DAY 16 • Rome • Optional Villa Medici tour Explore Rome on your own, or join our optional tour of Villa Medici, one of Rome’ s most iconic Renaissance landmarks. Meals: B | Hotel Delle Nazioni or similar
DAY 17 • Return to U. S. Fly to the U. S., or begin your post-trip extension to Central Italy: Hilltop Villages of the Apennine Mountains. Meals: B
