DAY 2 • Casablanca , Morocco • Rabat An O . A . T . representative meets us at the airport in Casablanca before heading to Rabat . Later , we meet our fellow travelers who took the optional pre-trip extension to Northern Morocco : Chefchaouen , Tangier & the Berbers of the Rif .

DAY 3 • Rabat Enjoy an introduction to the Arabic language before a walking tour of Rabat . We ’ ll visit La
Halinka , the oldest coffee shop in the region . Then , visit the ruins and gardens of the Chellah and Kasbah Oudeya , a citadel built in the twelfth century .

DAY 4 • Fez Travel to Fez — a UNESCO World Heritage Site . Upon arrival , enter the medina on foot , making our way to our riad — a Moroccan home that has been refurbished into a hotel .

DAY 5 • Fez • Home-Hosted Dinner Set out for a day of exploration in Fez . First , go to the traditional Jewish quarter , the mellah , to visit a 17th-century synagogue .
