DAY 11 • Skara Brae and Ring of Brodgar Today , visit Skara Brae , a Neolithic village and a UNESCO World Heritage Site , and the Ring of Brodgar , a Neolithic henge and stone circle .

DAY 12 • Orkney Islands • Churchill Barriers Discover Scapa Flow , a Royal Navy base during both World Wars . Highlights include the Churchill Barriers , a chapel built by Italian POWs , and the site of the wreck of the HMS Royal Oak . Then , explore the Orkney Fossil & Heritage Centre .

DAY 13 • Ferry ride to St . Gills Bay • Inverness Take a ferry to St . Gills Bay , followed by a drive to the village of John o ’ Groats , located near Dunnet Head — the northernmost point of mainland Great

DAY 14 • Inverness • Kilt maker visit • Visit Café 1668 , a Grand Circle Foundation site Take a walking tour of Inverness including Cavell Gardens before ascending to the Inverness Castle Viewpoint .
