DAY 10 • El Calafate • A Day in the Life of a Patagonian ranch Today we spend A Day in the Life of a working estancia , or Patagonian sheep ranch . We ’ ll meet the owners who live here , learn about what ranch life is like , and enjoy a traditional lunch of barbecued lamb .

DAY 11 • El Calafate • Perito Moreno Glacier Enjoy a full-day excursion to Los Glaciares National Park , a UNESCO World Heritage Site that comprises more than 1,700 square miles and nearly 50 large glaciers . Our ultimate destination is Perito Moreno Glacier , which towers nearly 200 feet above Lake Argentino .

DAY 12 • El Calafate • Torres del Paine National Park , Chile Travel overland to Torres del Paine National Park , which is centered around towering granite peaks , including the 9,200-foot-high Torres ( towers ). We ’ ll spend the afternoon exploring the park .

DAY 13 • Explore Torres del Paine National Park Today we ’ ll explore the rugged majesty of Torres del Paine during a pair of scenic hikes , each lasting about two hours . With the help of our Trip Experience Leader , we may be able to spot and identify some of Patagonia ’ s most majestic wildlife .

DAY 14 • Torres del Paine • Puerto Natales • Embark ship Continue exploring Torres del Paine with a morning hike . Then set off toward Puerto Natales , where we ’ ll board the M / V Skorpios III , our home for the next four nights , and begin our Chilean fjords cruise .

DAY 15 • Cruise glaciers Today we cruise through three smaller fjords . Beginning with the Amalia Glacier , we cruise onward towards the El Brujo Glacier . Weather permitting , we ’ ll go ashore for panoramic views . Finally , we navigate Calvo Fjord , a glacier-filled alley of bobbing ice . We ’ ll board an icebreaker boat , the Capitán Constantino , to get closer .

DAY 16 • Cruise glaciers Discover the Las Montañas Fjord today , including explore Alsina , Bernal , and Angostura White glaciers . We ’ ll board small expedition boats to get closer and go ashore .

DAY 17 • Guillard Fjord Cruise through the Guillard fjord , a narrow stretch of water surrounded on all sides by glaciers whose origins were as volcanoes in the Southern Ice Field . This evening , enjoy a special Captain ’ s Farewell Dinner onboard .

DAY 18 • Disembark ship • Punta Arenas
