WHAT DO YOU BOND OVER?
KRISTY: We're always there for
each other, when times become
hard I know I can ALWAYS rely on
my Sister to help me through it.
She's always very fair so she'll look
at things from everyone's points of
view so this is helpful.
NOVA: Our children, good dinners,
family and close friends.
WHAT DO YOU FIGHT OVER?
NOVA: Not much that I can think
of, when we were younger we more
inclined to squabble.
WHO’S BOSSIEST?
NOVA: I am the oldest, and the
wisest and also the bossiest.
KRISTY: Yes. What she said.
WHO’S THE ALPHA SISTER?
KRISTY: Again, that would be my
Sister, likes to organise me and
keep me in line.
DID YOU SHARE A BEDROOM?
We did as young kids. And we also
shared with our brother. Our room
was divided with wardrobes to give
some privacy. We all loved sharing
a room.
CAN YOU SHARE A FUNNY STORY
FROM YOUR YOUTH?
KRISTY: Oh gosh, there's LOTS..
And I'm not sure if any are really
suitable for here - LOL!
Let's just say there were definitely
some trips to nightclubs when I
wasn't quite old enough.
NOVA: I have many but - again - I
am unsure they are appropriate to
tell... but who cares! Let’s do it
anyway!
Mum wrangling a python that had
strangled her dog. Dad running to
her aid and yelling for mum to put
the snake down and yelling to us to
get a weapon to help. I ripped a fly
screen out of the window, Kristy
got a coat hanger.
BEST THING ABOUT YOUR SISTER
KRISTY: She's my rock, if I ever
feel like i'm struggling she's the
person I call. She's someone I
know is always there for me and
gives the absolute best advice.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE ITEM
OF CLOTHING TO “BORROW” FROM
YOUR SISTER?
KRISTY: I always used to steal
Nova’s clothes when I was a teen-
ager she always had way cooler
clothers because she was working
and could afford do buy her own.
She hated me borrowing her
clothes.
NOVA: She would take anything that
fit her, including my underwear.
Now
BIRTH ORDER: NOVA (44), KRISTY (41)
ANY OTHER SIBLINGS?: One legend-
ary brother, Corey, who is in the
middle of us.
She's also lots of fun and I love
hanging with her. One of my most
favourite people in the world.
LOVE MY SISSY!
NOVA: She is my Berrocca - my
Effervescent Bubble. A sister that
is not wrapped around my wrist
but fastened to my heart. The first
person I ring when shit is really
going down. Honesty, loyalty and a
whole lot of FUN. Its treasured
and sacred, its having my back,
lifting me up, its telling me “ you
are being a dick” and nudging me
out of my comfort Zone.
