Chrystal Neeve
Jessica Rastoka
ELDEST TO YOUNGEST: JESSICA (33), CHRYSTAL (31)
OCCUPATIONS: Both event stylists
WHAT DO YOU BOND OVER?
CHRYSTAL: We bond over every-
thing, Jess and I are like chalk
and cheese but share so many
passions. Our biggest bond is
probably our passion for events &
styling, Jess and I LOVE to create
events that excite hence the
inception of our events business
Two Sisters Events & Styling. Our
biggest “bonding” moment for
2018 would have to be the birth of
my son Memphis Hugh Neeve. Me,
becoming a mother and Jess an
Aunty has brought so much joy to
the Rastoka family, no matter
what’s going on in our lives,
everything stops for baby boy
Memphis.
WHAT DO YOU FIGHT OVER?
CHRYSTAL: We don’t fight very
much, if at all. When we do have
disagreements they would defi-
nitely be work related, planning
events can put you in some funny,
stressful and tiring situations
so being sisters and in a business,
fights sometimes break out!
WHO’S BOSSIER?
CHRYSTAL: I’d say definitely me,
although Jess can have her bossy
moments and does have the nick
name CEO in our family as she’s
always tasking family members
with jobs.
WHO’S THE ALPHA SISTER?
CHRYSTAL: I think we are both
Alpha females, strong, confident,
and hard workers. I don’t believe
one of us is more dominant than
the other, we both have our
strengths and weaknesses and they
seem to compliment each others.
DID YOU SHARE A BEDROOM?
CHRYSTAL: Yes, we shared from
around 10 years! I loved it but Jess
wanted her own room (she loves
her own space). Once we she
moved to the room next door we
would bang on the brick walls to
each other doing some sort of
morse code to communicate,
I think we missed each other!
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE ITEM
OF CLOTHING TO “BORROW” FROM
YOUR SISTER?
CHRYSTAL: For both of us we
were crazy about this Australian
designer that made 90’s kids lycra
outfits, crop tops and skirts, I think
the designer was BiBekki? We
use to put on our lycra outfits
and go roller blading, we were
the coolest kids in Caravonica .
CAN YOU SHARE A FUNNY STORY
FROM YOUR YOUTH
CHRYSTAL: Our funniest story
would have to be the Avocado
Story! On a random night out on
the town Jess and I were both quite
inebriated and decided we should
make our way home. We decided
to take a walk through Rusty’s
Markets to try and find a taxi when
Jess decided she felt like an
avocado so helped herself to one
from one of the market stalls (very
our of character for Jess). I told
her not to take it and she didn’t
really need an avocado but she
was on a mission. As soon as she
picked up the avocado out of
no where two police officers
appeared. They asked Jess where
she bought the avocado from and
she admitted she took it but then
started to tell off the police officers
for wasting there time on a petty
avocado thief when there were
more serious crimes occurring on
the streets. I then had to talk our
way out of the situation so Jess
didn’t get a fine, in the end they
agreed to let us go if our Dad
came and picked us up. End of
story, we have the BEST DAD ever!
BEST THING ABOUT YOUR SISTER
CHRYSTAL: Jess is honestly one
of the kindest and most generous
people I know, I admire this about
her so much. She has so much
respect and time for others it
blows my mind. She constantly
reminds me to practice these
traits in my own life.
JESSICA: Chrystal is the definition
of a beautiful person on the inside
and out, she has a massive heart
and always gives to others when
she can. She always has my
back and I would be truly lost
without her. She is more than
my best friend.
