Extremely well researched and written, it brings
to life the depth of feeling on both sides in one of
the most important events in the battle between
conservation and development in Queensland.
Wilkie interviewed many of the protagonists in
this event and accessed much of the photographic
history as it occurred, giving the reader the feeling
of what it was like to be on site as events unfolded.
