Year 6
assembly
"At first I thought it was going to be really heard learning my lines. I also felt scared in case I forgot some of my them and made mistakes. But I think our play was a success. In the end, we sang a nasheed called 'Sing Children Of The World'. We all enjoyed preforming the play and hope the audience liked it too." (Maryam)
"This year, the Year 6 class did their assembly about BBC News and what has been happening around us in the world. First, we wrote our scripts in groups and made our props. We used different materials and worked hard to try and make them the best. Then we made sure everyone knew their lines."
"In our play we had journalists, adverts, and reporters. We also had a jury, Theresa May, Jeremy Corbyn and Mr Speaker. Our play included the Rohingiya Muslims, Hurricane Irma, BBC Sport and the weather. We also had two adverts."
