Company hosts annual summer carnival that includes rides for
kids and teens of all ages and a carnival game walkway. Hours
are 6 to 11 p.m. Sept. 1; 1 t o 11 p.m. Sept. 2; 1 to 10 p.m. Sept.
3; 1 to 8 p.m. Sept. 4.
Elmhurst Public Library, 125 S. Prospect Ave: Enter the “Ghost
Gallery” with an original story, poem, or gravestone epitaph,
and you could win a Barnes and Noble gift card. (For grades
K-8.) Deadline to submit is Oct. 9. Participants must have
Elmhurst Public Library card.

Fun Land for children, appearances by Disney Channel stars.
Fling Mile, Rooster 5K and Labor Day Parade on Monday. Hours
