Wonder Works Children’s Museum, 6445 W. North Ave.: Wonder
Works is opening up early the second Thursday of every month
for children with special needs. Wonder Works is welcoming
children 0 to 8 years old and their families in to enjoy the
museum during a quieter time with enhanced accessibility
throughout the museum. All attendees are welcome to stay in
the museum when it opens at 10am.

with rings, catch a sunny butterfly or get all “bubbly” this
summer - these are the choice of projects during 3 - 6 p.m.
Thursdays and Fridays. This runs June 13 through Aug. 16, and
is suitable for ages 9 and up.

friendly fare and entertainment after hours in the Children’s
Garden.
Robie House, 5757 S. Woodlawn Ave.: Whether you have come
for a tour or are strolling the neighborhood, come and join
this Pop Up Design Studio on Thursday mornings. This drop-in
style workshop is held inside the courtyard at Robie House and
includes new art making and design activities weekly. Recom-
mended for families with those ages pre-K to grade 5, however,
children must be accompanied by an adult.
