Montessori and Technology
The teachers at the school are completely unprepared for new computers and most are convinced that a Montessori school should not have them. They believe students learn through “practical” and “real life” lessons. Most don’t speak english, only two have smart phones, one has an android tablet that has only been turned on once and one has a 16GB iPad that she won at the school’s Christmas Party (the grand prize).
