How does the Equitable Learning Service work?

An Equitable Learning Advisor will meet you and develop an individualised learning plan( Equitable Learning Plan- ELP) based on the medical / professional information provided by you. This plan may include:
• adjustments to classroom environment
• adjustments for the exam environment
• provision of course materials in alternative formats
• provision of enabling assistance staff – notetakers, participation assistants
• provision of captioning and / or assistive technology
Each person’ s plan is different – designed to suit your individual needs and course of study. The ELP is then shared with your course convenors and Academic staff.
