Not every day of your life can be a movie scene-like moment. Most days are actually pretty casual and just… average. These days we tend to think that they are boring, maybe even unproductive and sad, which can make us wait for warm moments of better days. The days when we feel on the top of the world and the life is so great. We choose not to appreciate average days, and instead, we wait for the sparkles of incredible, warm moments of better days. Not noticing the sparkles while we're actually living them is probably that mistake we make everyday.

We romanticise the past and the future all the time, not even realising how much of our lives we're missing if we only define happiness in the big sparkling moments. We're constantly waiting and expecting to be happy. What about finally ending the waiting and romanticise the most basic things in our daily lives? Make the most out of the little moments, like the first sip of your morning coffee or tea, and be grateful for them. What could be the highlight of your basic day? Perhaps, someone holding the door open for you is a small gesture. It's not about forcing yourself to be happy. It doesn't actually need to be objectively great or positive. In fact, you might have had a really bad day, which is okay. I bet you can find at least one tiny thing that makes you grateful for that day.

Try to find that small experience to romanticise so you can look for beautiful things and see the day differently. It for sure takes a lot of effort but you have to sit down and think over it - if today was the last day of my life (which I really hope it's not, but it could be) I try at least to enjoy it. Basically, don't dwell on the past or race your mind about the future, stay in the present and try not to chase happiness but create it for yourself at the moment. You later on realise how this, such a small thing can make such a big difference in day to day life.

It can be a new habit to improve your mental state. It can also be a way of taking care of yourself because we all need to practice balance in our head. You may not know what's the best for you yet, that is why we look for small things we can change easilythat should be our perspective. If you hate fall, maybe a rainy day is not even bad if you don't let it affect you. Don't let it have power over you

My message for you in whatever moment of life you're in right now is, even if life is not at best and you feel like you have low days, if things feel hard, all these feelings are surely valid and you shouldn't try to hide them or burry them. Recognise them and let them go, replace them with small, casual everyday romantic moments. So now my question is what is that your tiny thing that is casually magic and can bring you happiness?
