Natural connections and efficient cabinetry
design can create a warm, uncluttered kitchen.
The brief to Yellowfox designer Peta Davy
for this project was to open up the top-floor
living spaces and create a kitchen that brings the
family together in the shared space.
Key approaches to the new design included
bringing a sense of balance across the kitchen,
banishing cooking mess from sight, and creating a relaxed, natural ambience, says Davy.
To achieve this, the designer specified rich
wood veneer cabinetry for both the south wall
and above the range on the west wall, which
