Well isn't this exciting. You are reading a bit of history on your screen as this is the first publication of the NZ Polocrosse News.
Most people read the newspaper, but there isn't likely to be much of a focus on polocrosse and to keep everyone up to date on the comings and goings, this magazine has been created. This magazine will be published twice per month during the season, and every two months over the off-season just to keep everyone informed.
A magazine doesn't work well without others input so if you would like to try your hand at writing an article or think there should be something featured in the magazine, please do and get in touch with me at [email protected].
If you are wondering who is producing this magazine, running websites and getting polocrosse in NZ into the media, that would be me, the new publicity officer. My name is Alice Perry and probably greater recognised as the person standing on the sideline taking photos or if you played C grade, one of the opposition. I have only been involved with polocrosse for the past year but have loved every moment so want to give back to the sport as much as I can.
I hope everyone is having a good off-season and enjoying the winter practices and training sessions being held and looking after your horses!
