What may possibly happen if Trump loses his presidential bid , as others have suggested , is that this charlatan , Donald Trump , will start a conservative television , radio or internet media network to capitalize on his wildly loyal “ base ” and the global White nationalism that lead to Brexit and is seemingly sweeping the world . Can ’ t you see the dollars flowing ? Certainly , such a scenario could explain his courtship of Roger Ailes , former Head of Fox News , and Sean Hannity , the conservative host of a prime time , highly successful , hour-long show on Fox Network , who is , according to a story in The New York Times Business Day section on August 22 , 2016 , “ Mr . Trump ’ s biggest media booster who also ” veers into the role of adviser .” Last but not least , there is ex-investment banker and filmmaker Steven K . Bannon , the ceo of Breitbart News and in August 2016 recruited as ceo of the Trump campaign . After all , Trump ’ s mantra that the electoral process is “ rigged ” provides a path out of politics for his ego and promises a lucrative road to riches for this publicity hungry , narcissistic — but evil , smart — sociopath .

On another note , I want to mention just how much I enjoyed the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil , which also took place in August . The great accomplishments of Usain Bolt in track and field ( three Gold Medals in these games and nine in his career without a single lost ); Michael Phelps in swimming ( four Gold Medals and one Silver in these games totaling 23 Gold Medals and 27 medals over his career ); Katie Ledecky , also in swimming ( four Gold and one Silver Medal in the 2016 games and five Golds overall — and she ’ s just 19 years old !); the American sprinter , Allyson Felix ( two Gold and one Silver Medal in the 2016 games and six Gold and three Silver Medals overall ); the final shootout shot by Brazil ’ s superstar , Neymar that won the first Olympic Gold Medal ever in soccer for the hosting Brazilian team ; the four Gold and one Bronze Medal won by American gymnast , Simone Biles , who some have called the greatest in her sport of all time ; the Gold Medals won by both ( women and men ) American basketball teams ( but especially the women who dominated throughout their tournament — the men only dominated in their final Gold Medal game against Serbia ); and all the other great Olympians who made these games such a joy for me to watch ! Also , the opening and closing ceremonies were simply awesome and showed the history in depth of all the ethnic and racial diversity of Brazil and Rio , a spectacularly beautiful country and city . It was unforgettable .
