What inspired you to pursue a career as a
designer?
I’ve
always wanted to design clothing; even as a
young girl. My mom inspired and encouraged
me to pursue my dreams. I proudly attended
Virginia State University where I majored in
Fashion.

Do you have a designer
that
you
admire?
Why?
I admire CoCo Chanel, her style and attention
to detail was unmatched.

What can you tell us about your collection?
My collection is inspired by my grandmother,
she loved white and believed women should
dress as such – sophisticated, authentic and
from her heart.

What do you think of your work?
I love my work because it’s handmade, one of
a kind pieces. Every piece created is designed
with my customer in mind.

Describe your creative process?
My creative process occurs throughout my day.
I’m inspired by nature, flowers, paintings, etc.
I derive my pieces from everything around me.
I crochet everything free hand; so I’m 100% a
visionary designer.
