LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
Dear Readers,
Over the past few
months, we have seen
many teams endure some
great football, soccer and
volleyball seasons. As the
summer days come to an
end and the cold, brisk air
starts to drift in, we start to
switch our focus to the fall
and winter sports.
Before we do that, we have highlighted many
soccer and volleyball teams this season including
Eramus Hall, Bayside, Mt. St. Michael’s Academy
and others. Each team has its own unique story
and challenges, but after talking to numerous
players and coaches, they all have the same goal.
Unfortunately for them, not everyone will reach it.
Over this summer, we have witnessed some
football teams go undefeated, dominating the
opponents, and we have seen some teams that have
relied on their younger players. Some had injuries
to the upper classmen and others are loaded with
talent for the next few years.
This is our last chance to touch on many of our
great athletes, as they will be graduating in the
spring. With a fresh set of sports ready to go, we
say goodbye to the outdoor ones for a few months.
Inside this edition you’ll get a chance to read about
some of the most successful teams of the summer.
