Officer Transition
A huge part of any organization’s future success is a smooth officer transition. Outgoing officers
should be thinking of a plan to meet with new officers to ensure a smooth transition. A could tips
include:
• Incoming and outgoing officers can and should meet regularly through whatever
platform is most comfortable for you. Even emails sharing documents back and forth
is a great step in preparing your new officers for success.
• If you would like to schedule a virtual meeting for officer transition with incoming
and outgoing officers this semester, connect with your club advisor or email us at
[email protected] and if previous officers are still connected to the
college we can help.
Annual Club Paperwork
Any club that wishes to be active for the 2020-2021 academic year will have to complete the
Club Renewal paperwork by October 2, 2020. Club paperwork can be found by clicking here.
Forming and/or Renewing a Student Organization
We want to remind you that we are still working remotely and are here to support you and your
organizations through this time. A few tips for you:
• Utilize the NWTC website for a wealth of information. All forms will be posted there as
well as links to officer transition tools and college organization policies and procedures
you can review.
• We are available at any time to schedule a phone call or virtual meeting. The best way to
reach out is to email [email protected].
To form or renew a student organization at the beginning of the academic year, the following
must be completed and turned into the Student Involvement Office:
**Minimum of four current NWTC students to form a student organization**
• A signed Advisor Agreement Form indicating the name of the NWTC
staff/faculty member to act as the student organization advisor. Advisor must be
an employee of NWTC.
• A current constitution, updated on an annual basis.
• A student organization roster including the student ID number of each student
member.
