Involvement Fair/Club Recruitment
Student Involvement is sponsoring two (2) Virtual Involvement Fairs as a recruitment
opportunity for student organizations. This event is used as a kick-off to make students aware of
opportunities and organizations they may want to become involved in. Clubs are invited to
participate, recruit new members and/or highlight achievements of their organizations during
these two days (Tuesday, September 1 and Thursday, September 3) over Eagle Hour, 11:30am –
12:30pm. Clubs are encouraged to participate either one or both days. To reserve a WebEx link,
please contact Mandy Rooni at 920-498-5449. For Marinette & Sturgeon Bay campuses, please
contact your respective Student Involvement Coordinator for details.
Community Service and Volunteerism
Servant leadership is instrumental in developing strong leadership in NWTC students. The longterm
impact of giving back to and becoming engaged in the community will assist in the
development of a student’s civic consciousness and will continue as they enter the workforce.
Each student organization is encouraged to complete a minimum of one community service
project (including at least 50% of club membership) each year. Clubs that are looking for ideas
or assistance can contact the Service Learning and Civic Engagement Specialist at 920.498-5431
or visit: Service Learning
When choosing a community service project, keep in mind diversity, equity and sustainability.
