Fleet Vehicle Usage . All fleet vehicle requests must be made by the advisor • If requesting a fleet vehicle, log onto the NWTC Hub. From the home page click on forms then click on the link for the Vehicle Requisition form, (Vehicle Requisition Form) and add the need for a GPS or IPAS unit in the “Special Requirements” section. Procedure • GPS or IPASS requisitions can be made in person, by email to; [email protected] or by adding the request to the additional equipment field in the People Soft vehicle requisition request. This link, titled “Vehicle Requisition Form”, can be located on the intranet home page under the “Forms” tab or by using the following link. Vehicle requisition form. • GPS or IPASS units will be issued from this request on a first available basis in the order in which the requests were received. • The employee requesting the GPS or IPASS unit will pick the unit up from the Distribution Center Personnel in ED 104, (Receiving). The units will be signed for and are the responsibility of the employee until the unit is returned to the Distribution Center. • Should it become necessary to change or cancel a requested GPS or IPASS unit, the preferred method is to send an email to [email protected] . The request may be canceled or changed by contacting the Distribution Center at 498-6290. • Problems or issues with the GPS or IPASS unit should be reported to Distribution Center staff members as soon as practical. Steps: • For those not using a Fleet Vehicle, send an email requesting the GPS or IPASS unit to [email protected] . Please specify the destination of the business travel as well as the date/s and time/s needed. If email is not available phone 498-6290. • Please include the name of the vehicle operator. • Please go to the Distribution Center, AG102 between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM the business day prior to travel to sign for the GPS or IPASS unit. A carrying case, power adapter, suction mount are included with the GPS unit issued. • Place the unit on a part of the windshield that will not impede the operator’s safe visibility while operating the vehicle. 20
