at a local fabric store, where the
employees annually offer assistance
in cutting and prepping the items.

With police officers and staff
from ten agencies lending a
hand, people got to see them in
another light instead of their usual
demeanor on duty. “I wanted to do
something that helped bridge the
gap between police officers and
community members and this event
helped create healthy relationships
between cops and emergency
personnel,” said Ninham, a mission in
progress with each blanket made.
