Curriculum
The Building Energy & Comfort Controls certificate program will provide instruction in basic electricity , commercial utility billing and costs , environmental comfort variables ( such as humidity and temperature ), basic HVAC mechanics , basic building automation controls , and sequences of building operation . Successful graduates will be prepared to enter the workforce at an informed and skilled level that allows them to quickly grasp concepts and operational procedures based on employer specific equipment , processes , and comfort controlled smart logic .
