Lori has owned and shown Tennessee Walking Horses for over 37 years. She currently breeds, trains, owns and rides her AOT horses with her husband, Mike and daughter, Athena throughout the NWHA circuit. Lori has been active in NWHA since its inception and served as one of the judges for the first NWHA National Championship Show in 2001. She has served in various board positions including president, secretary, and as a regional director. She has also served as chairman, liaison or member on various NWHA committees including the judges, rules, hearing, and show committees. Lori won the NWHA Phoenix Award in 2011, which is an award chosen by NWHA members for outstanding personal contributions to our organization.
Lori has spent her working career in education and public service. She has degrees in business, education and administration. She has worked as a public relations officer, teacher, principal and superintendent. She recently retired as the superintendent of a regional service center serving 16 school districts and nine counties in Ohio, and continues to work part-time as an educational liaison for the Ohio Department of Public Safety.

Kimberly joined NWHA in 2009 and began serving on the Board as a Southeast Regional Director in 2013. Since joining NWHA, she has served on various committees and has been the association ' s Executive Director for several years.
Mrs. O ' Connor holds two undergraduate degrees in equestrian science and a Master’ s degree in Management. She became certified as an equine sports massage therapist in 2006 and has held certification as an open horse show judge through NCSU’ s Cooperative Extension Judging Program. She is also a member of AMHA, NSSHA, PtHA, RHBAA, SSHBEA, and WHOA.
Aside from equine endeavors, Kimberly has taught college-level business courses. Recreationally, she is a PADI carded Rescue SCUBA diver.
A native of Northeast Tennessee is where she calls home with her active-duty spouse of 22 years and their two teenage boys.
