Ann Moriarity | St. Francis, WI NWHA Office Manager
I’ ve loved horses for as long as I can remember. Back in the day, long-distance calls were a luxury few families could afford. I got myself in trouble by calling every number in the Sunday paper listing a horse for sale( no matter where the horse was located). I was sure that if I found the right one, my parents couldn’ t refuse. It didn’ t work as planned.
Decades later, 2005 to be exact, my wish was granted. I was blessed with Bob Dillon’ s Ebony Threat( ET). Life was never the same. Over the years, ET has earned many honors, including several annual High Point awards from various associations. Then my ultimate dream came true. In 2010, we won the National English Amateur 2 Gait Championship in Murfreesboro, TN.
Currently, ET and I are retired, but my passion for the Tennessee Walking Horse and my support of their natural abilities have not dimmed. In my spare time, I like to hang around the barn, walk my dog, ride motorcycles, and occasionally make it to the shooting range.
I look forward to reuniting with the membership and meeting new faces in this fine Association.
