Welcome to the 2025 Show Season ! Congratulations to our members on their High Point Awards for 2024 and those that honored their winning equines in our magazine ! We also want to congratulate Taylor White on winning the Youth Achievement Award , and JoEllen Finerfrock on winning the Pegasus Award .
As we move forward with 2025 , with all of the uncertainty , at least we know that until April 2 , 2025 , our DQP system will remain in place . Our additional planning program is waiting in the wings depending upon what happens April 2 . While we have no good answers as to what costs we may incur with the USDA taking over our self-policing system , we are trying to keep our show managers abreast of the ever changing system .
Our first show of the year will be in Marshal , TX , hosted by the Marshall County Lions Club . We look forward to this first show starting NWHA off in the right direction !!
After Texas , we will have a whirlwind of other showing opportunities for you and your favorite equines around the country . Stay tuned to the website for updates on dates and class lists of your favorite shows !
With that , each of our committees are hard at work , planning for 2025 . Whether you ’ re on the trail or in the rail , adult or youth , possibilities for opportunities this year are endless .
The National Class list is starting to take shape , and we have already received sponsorship items from multiple companies including Manna Pro , Kerrits Riding Attire , Cowboy Magic , Coat Defense , Triple Crown , The Riding Warehouse , and have plenty more to come for the silent auction ! Our new charity for 2025 is St . Jude ’ s Children ’ s Hospital and we are excited to see what this great collaboration can do !
Lastly , remember to get those memberships renewed for 2025 before March 31 , as prices will increase $ 25 per membership type .
